We don't jump Ohio State because:

1) They were without their biggest weapon on offense
2) "#1 vs #3" sounds more big time than "#1 vs #4"

It doesn't matter. As long as we take care of the things we can control, i.e. winning our games, we'll be fine. Southern Cal is gonna donkey-rape the Buckeyes next week, so why even sweat this week's poll?

I'm more concerned with beating Washington next week than I am some poll in the 2nd week of the college football season.

UW showed me that they have some fight in them against BYU and this game gives me that CU feeling that I had last year.

I'm not taking any team for granted this year. Hopefully, UW has a big let down on Saturday from losing this weekend and we jump on them early and stay on them.

We should have dropped more. They did not show up for Ohio U until late late in the 3rd quarter. OKlahoma more than deserved to jump us and I hope you guys keep it going. if we can't get to the top and win it, I'd love to see OU do it. Ohio boy at coach and another program that has endured media scrutiny from multiple BCS game losses. Good luck Sooners, hope you all go undefeated.

Can't speak for U$C. But we were investigated for the Clarett thing as well as when Troy smith got caught with the $500. We've been investigated twice, nothing found. All top programs have their advantages and I understand where you are coming from, but it's not what it seems and I've looked at it as I best objectively can. There are no issues with the program. Tressel doesn't operate that way. Now, Meyer, Carroll and Miles, I don't know how they operate.
