Yeah, that's just local. It was the first game of the season. Not much competition for local viewers that day. A lot of OU fans watched as well. I watched some of most Big Twelve games last week. ISU, Baylor, OSU, Missouri, and Colorado. OU's game was thirty dollars a pop on PPV (if you could get it) against the pud of puds. This market share means as much as who ate lunch where yesterday, not much. They were just about the only game in town, and still the number of viewers was nothing special. The DOK is just throwing a bone out there.

They had a good opponent with a name. I mean, obviously this is not the Wazzu we played in the Rose Bowl in 2002 (actually 03), but it was still a name school, much like us playing Miami at home last year - it wasn't the Miami of the 80s and 90s, but still "Miami."
