I got a raise yesterday

as did everyone in the company that I work for..3% raise just because they love us so much. We'll of course get our regular raise in january too, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Congrats Brat! Nothing beats a mid-year raise. Especially when you know you have another raise around the corner.

Yeah, I was very pleased to say the least and surprised cause I don't think my company does a lot of midyear raises too often, unless a good employee is threatening to leave or something.

One of the companies I used to work for had increasing revenue and we got a Christmas bonus that reflected it.... $50 Target gift cards. I heard that the gift the year before was company t-shirts and the year before that was pencils with the company logo. I was new, so I didn't care, but several co-workers complained :D

everyone in the company gets $600 Christmas bonus the day before Thanksgiving. the big bonuses come in January.

Yeah, well my company makes about 4 billion per quarter and they are increasing the out of pocket insurance costs and lowering bonuses. So take that....

I received an 18% raise in January, then a 4.5% COL raise this month. I also took on another job responsibility and will be receiving a $7500/year stipend.

I am happy!

During my interview for the job, I negotiated a 5 % raise(to make it an even 100% raise from my last job...figured I would ask for it) and will be getting a 5 % bonus in october and a pretty decent christmas bonus...

i just got a 4 figure project completion bonus last month, which was freakin nice (and more then pays for the trip to the UW game)

I'm hoping next overseas job will start before years end, so I can get the nice holiday bonus too
