Did Turd Blossom really say that Wasilla is the "second largest city in Alaska"?! Has bull**** become a game with these people, to see what they can get away with? Or are they just completely divorced from reality?

Cities of 100,000 or more people

* Anchorage

Towns of 10,000-100,000 people

* Fairbanks
* Juneau (State Capital)
* Eagle River

Towns of 1,000-10,000 people

* Ketchikan (7,368)
* Sitka (8,986)
* Wasilla (7,025)
* Kenai (7,464)
ect.

Facts can be confusing :confused: :confused: :confused:

Maybe he correctly said (or meant to say) "seventh" instead of "second", but I'm surprised they're not saying she's been governor for 20 years and that Alaska is the most populous state. The media never calls anybody on the BS they spew, so why not?

Turd Blossom screwed up by not calling Richmond what it is. A failed city. The place is a snakepit of deviciveness and hopelessness and people have been leaving for decades. It's the Detroit of the South. I've a dear friend I've known for over 15 years who is a lifelong resident and everytime we speak, he laments what it has become.

I defy you to find Richmond VA on anyone's list of top 100 places to live or raise a family.

Those Bastages.

Richmond has the most Fortune 500 headquarters of any city in Virginia and only five metro areas in the country have more Fortune 500 company headquarters than the Richmond area. In addition to the nine Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the Richmond area, four Fortune 1000 companies also have their headquarters located in the area.

They have ruined it....nobody would do well there. :D

Also....

I'm not really in support of either Party at this point.

The thing about the Republicans that has been bugging me for awhile is this.

It just seems like they have so many supporters who have become very militant in their defense of the party.

It's like going to work for some Company and once your hired you find out that there are Amway Parties on Saturday Night and they are held by the Company Higher Ups. You decide to go to a few and you start noticiing that everyone at the Company is there and you also notice that everyone is buying.

One weekend you decide that you would just like to see some old friends and you don't go. On Monday...nobody at the office speaks to you.

Okay, we give up. Obama will win.

You guys will have two years to do whatever it is you want to do, after that it will be over. Americans typically hate one party control, and you will, of course, go too radical, too far left, and lose congress.

And don't be surprised by the shear incompetence of your leaders..

I'm not saying give up...it's just that I was surprized by the sheer incompetence of GWB. I really expected more from him in the first term but when 911 hit and he didn't get OBL and then for whatever reason concentrated on Saddam even more...he lost me.

The 2nd term has left me even more in awe from the shock of the first term.

I think OBL is dead. I think he's rotting, burried deep in cave somewhere - probably Tora Bora.

The thing about this war that a lot of people don't understand is that it will go on for many more years, decades, and maybe into next the next century. It won't matter who is President, because they will continually bring the war to us.

The left wants to pull out like the did in Vietnam, and millions of people were killed by the communists. Now they want to do the same thing again. And even if we pull out, the Islamic armies are still going to try and figure out how to attack us and inflict the maximum amount of casualties to us, no matter how much we say we're tolerant and for peace.

So, say what you will about Iraq and Bush, but here is one thing certain: we are killing them by the thousands, over there. I know this will be offensive to some people, but that's how you win wars. Look at Germany...they're not the same...maybe it's because a large percentage of their male population was wiped out. Like France and Napoelan when they left 250,000 of their young males to freeze in the Russian snow...they just haven't been the same since. If you kill enough of them, the only ones left are women, old men, children, and the non-aggressive males who don't like to fight. Now we're in Iraq, and it's attracting every Jihadists in the region like moths to a electric bug zapper. That's a good thing. Every one we kill is one less we have to worry about here.

We are in a long-term, life or death struggle with a 'civilization' that lives in the 7th century. If you want to elect a guy who doesn't believe this, well, it's your call, but the war is going to be with us for a very long time. The Isamic fascists will make sure of it. And if you think about it, we've been at war with them since the 1960's, but now we're finally over there, kicking ***, instead of helplessly watching them throw a crippled old vet over the bow of a cruise ship.

As far as domestic stuff, I'll make it short: socialism simply can not last. It will bancrupt itself, like De Tocqueville says. That stuff is good for mindless ants, but it doesn't work for individual human beings. You know how I feel about that.

In all seriousness (I get to be serious every once in a while) the middle east has been a graveyard for once great empires. I don't want to go down that road. Let em kill each other, if they are fighting each other that means they ain't fighting us. By the time they figure that out, Russia will be breathing down their necks. And honestly, the Ruskies can and will do things to them that we can't constitutionally do.

OK, BRJ; Glad you asked about the fishing report. I haven't been down to Rocky Point lately, due to my buddy's boat having motor maintenance and repair, and high winds during the monsoon season. However, when people can get out, especially those who know what they're doing, they have been slaying the groupers. 2 guys I know who come over from California each caught 15 groupers one day, from 30-85 lbs.!!!!!

Actually, you will. They tear both sides a new one. They just go after the GOP with a little more verve, but that's just because the writers have a natural liberal slant. But since it's a comedy show and not the Fifth Estate, that's not hurting anything. :D
