TU is from OKC orginally. Went in the Navy after HS. Then the USPS while finishing his education. He's been a staff attorney at the 5th Circuit US Court of Appeals in NOLA for a long time. If memory serves, their home is in the West Bank.

After Katrina, they refugeed here in Oklahoma with family for the better part of a year.
