Homey, I would like to invest in some land. Some just for the investment, maybe to lease out later, and some to eventually build my retirement cabin on. So, what's a good price per acre in East Tennessee/SW Virginia/W North Carolina area and, more importantly, when is the best time to buy in the next few years?

They're all made by pretty much the same couple of manufacturers. If you can find one designed in Japan, I'd go with that one.

I actually know that area. Check out the mountains of SC . Google "High Hampton." It's going to be a little cheaper on the SC side of the line.

I'd buy as soon as you're ready. It's only going up. The thing is, the state of the economy has little to do with land prices in that neck of the woods.

if you start with cerveza, stay with it. DO NOT put tequila on top of cerveza.

as far as hangover relief goes, just stay drunk the whole week. That way, only one hangover at end of vaca.
