Not that anybody really cares, but I don't want to go watch a high school football game tonight. Anyway the spread is Rice -3. The over/under is like 70!!!

Anybody else like Rice to cover this one up.? It was a shootout last year, SMU had a great running game. I don't see that happening again, with June as the coach obviously.

The big unknown for me in this game, "Is how is the SMU QB is picking up June Jones' system?" I think it will take him a little time (2-3 more weeks) to really get in a "groove". Rice has 16 returning starters and the SMU defense is a little susupect. Clement and Dillard should be able to connect for a few big plays. Look for a lot of points to be scored.

Friday night college football.......completely a gambler's special, and SMU/Rice? Gotta love these crap games on these odd nights now, who watches that trainwreck if there is no money on it? lol This might be the best HS football game of the night actually.
