Did anyone watch college football live tonight? Lou was ranting on how Notre Lame is going to a BCS game this year. He was also stating how some schools hope to win 10 games but ND plans to win it all every year. He said the year he finished 2nd in the nation, they called him an idiot. I agree.

I think that Holtz is right. ND does plan to win it every year. I am VERY happy that they suck hind tit on occasion though.

Hell, what big college program doesn't plan to win it every year? It's just his head rattling. He would say the same thing about OU, USC, LSU, Bama, Georgia, Nebraska, tOSU, etc.

Last week Lou said 11 games sure thing. The fact that he lowered that number to 10(-11) now means that he'll be in single digit predictions before long.

I think the BCS agreement is that if ND finishes with enough wins to qualify for any bowl, they're contractually obligated to be in the BCS. ;)

Their schedule is not as tough as it was last year, and their young talent has some experience. Still, that's not enough for an 8-win improvement. I do think they'll make a bowl game, though.
