I'm going to go with Suicide Blond as my personal favorite.

Listen Like Thieves is a great record. their best.

what you need is probably the "best' but not my fave....seeing how it mines the David Sylvian/Japan white boy funk that Roxy Music did a little and was also ripped by Duran Duran's first record.

I'll never understand why anyone thinks of INXS as a one-album-wonder. They had like what, five solid albums, and hits in the US as early as '82.

Listen Like Thieves and Kick were their two best albums though.

I'm sorry. You're the guy who linked to that awful Journey song. Your vote doesn't count.

He was barely alive when INXS was on the scene. He asked his wife.

Ding, ding, ding...Winner! That video was so cool. Shot in Prauge on one of their tours, the coolest thing was the sax solo in the cemetary. The best INHO.

Never Tear Us Apart

Broke up with my high skool sweetheart while that song was playing in the background. Not only did I get slapped in the face that night, that song was ruined for me 4ever.

We hooked back up a few months later.

That love song, All Choked Up ...was that theirs or was that a Michael solo project?? ;)

I like one of their more obscure hits: "Not Enough Time" from the album "Welcome to Whenever You Are". Check it out sometime! It's a hidden jewel.

Otherwise I would go with "New Sensation" or "Never Tear Us Apart".

What You Need.

A little history lesson for you newer folk. I was all but tarred and feathered in this forum many years ago for making the suggestion that Men at Work was a better Australian band than INXS. As a matter of fact, I still stand by that claim.

Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover!

I'll take Men at Work over INXS anytime.
