I wouldn't be surtprised to see us play like **** to be honest with you. It just seems like everytime the buzz is Oklahoma is going to rock someone, they end up laying eggs like the Baylor, Iowa State and WVU games last year. Difference is some teams, unlike UT-C aren't good enough to take advantage of OUr laziness FTW.

Sam Bradford tosses two JG TDs and attempts at least two long bombs, Murray has at least two sick long runs... Halzle in the game early in the 3rd... unmotivated OU D allows craptacular offense to score at least twice.

Our first string is probably better than your third string, but by the time your third string comes in our first string will be worn out and beat down.

There are some excellant players in FCS football, just not the quantity that is in FBS football. A few recent FCS, aka Div I-AA players: Terrell Owens, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Tony Romo. We have players that could play for your team, just not many of them.

I agree a few players MAY be able to play (but not start) for us, but I would still think our 3rd guys would be better than most of UTC starters for sure. I also agree they will come in and play their arse off and use it as a good experience. Poor Mocs also go to FSU in 2 weeks!!!! OUCH

I don't want to speak for him or even pretend to know about Mocs football, but I guess RB Erroll Wynn is definitely of their key guys who is one of their stars.....when healthy. With OU able to stuff the run and vs an opponent like this.....yards are gonna be very tough to come by. Of course we always gotta avoid the big pass play to be able to limit them to few pts or even pitch the shutout.

Errol Wynn is a quality running back. Our best rb is out for the season, Fitzgerald, but Wynn is almost as good IMHO. We have a new JUCO qb who will be starting, no idea how good he is. We have some good wideouts, in particular Clint Woods and Blue Cooper. Both were qbs in high school so don't be shocked to some trick play where they throw the ball. Have a lineman, Giles, been injured in camp, but supposedly is on the NFL watch list as a possible draft choice, or free agent.

Defensively? Good question..lots of new faces. Buster Skrine is a good kid, but may be out with an injury.

I am optimistic that this season will show us to be an "average I-AA" team. That is a step up from where we have been. The last couple seasons we play well, but find ways to lose the game. We lost by 34-15 at Arkansas last year and one our guys outrushed Darren McFadden. It was a competitive 34-15 game. I really expect something in the 50s for OU to something in the teens for us.
