I did.

I didn't really get the coverage I'd like but eventually we'll be able to see all the highlights.

I'm proud to be an American.

I'm glad we got through the whole China deal.

Hopefully tensions will ease a bit.

I enjoyed and watched more of it than I thought I would.

It was a nice diversion from the regular day-to-day stuff.

...and I like seeing some sports that you don't get much chance to see.

I enjoyed it. I love watching competition at high levels in various sports. I'm glad the Winter Olympics are a mere 18 months away.

i enjoyed it more than any other olympics. i'm sad to see it go.

watching the nba players celebrate the gold gave me alot of respect for the whole team, including krizewski. it was one of the purest, most honest celebrations i've ever seen.

Heck, Yes! This had to be one of the best Olympics I have ever followed. The opening and closing ceremonies were unforgettable, as were sporting events.

I am already planning on going to London in 2012.

I think China is trying to telling us they wanna go to space in the closing ceremonies.

Yes, I did. I was drawn into it a lot more than the previous couple of Olympics.

Despite losing the gold count, I was very happy with America's performance. We brought home some really important gold medals in some of the biggest team sports.

I got tired of the China butt kissing. They do that for the hosts of every Olympics but they seemed to take it a step further. Plus, the entire world is consumed with China butt kissing anyway - with or without the Olympics.

I hated all the Chinese-pimping...especially with their underage gymnastics team!

That said, I wish it was still on so I wouldn't be having to hear about the conventions...

I am hoping for a South America hosting in 2016. The time differences are annoying. Gold medal basketball on at 1:30 a.m.?! wtf...

the primetime swimming finals and gymnastics finals were perfect. More needs to be done to get prime placement for certain events.

Gold-Silver-Bronze in women's saber fencing--outstanding!
Phelps--outstanding!
Gold in volleyball and beach volleyball--outstanding!
Gold in wrestling--outstanding!
Diving--oh well
China spending 40 billion to put it on--go figure

Well, 2 of the 4 finalists are in the Americas. But the highest bid scores so far belong to Madrid and Tokyo.
