I was just sitting here at my computer desk and looked around. Lots of Crimson and Cream and everything had SOONERS written on it.
Then I asked myself, what is a SOONER?
Someone who sneaked across the line 119 years ago?
Yes, but since then a SOONER means much more.
It means Pride, it means History and it means Winning.
From one armed Bennie Owen to visor wearing Bob Stoops, there is a special love, power and bond that makes us SOONERS.
We are not jealous whorns nor sniveling pokes, We are SOONERS!
Others want to be us, but that cannot be...
Yes, you have traditions and a past Michigan, Notre Dame and Alabama...
But you are not...
SOONERS!
