Came across this interesting news item from many, many years ago:


Woods was followed by Edwin Simmons and Gay, former University of Texas players, each of whom also acknowledged signing with the agents before their college eligibility expired.

I don't recall this in the media. Was this big news at the time?

BTW, does anyone remember exactly what happened with Edwin Simmons when he was arrested? I remember that he was high and naked, but that's about it.
