With all of the woulda, coulda, shoulda in the universe, what Olympic sport do you think you'd have a chance to compete?

Of all the Olympic sports, I really believe that my cannonball diving technique has probably improved over the years.

I'm pretty sure I can still do a front flip on a trampoline. But, I haven't tried that since a mini tornado bounced my sister's trampoline across the cow pasture about 10 years ago. I never managed the back flip, but I'm pretty sure I could have with enough courage of not being bounced on my head.

What else? I can still throw a discus like I learned from my junior high days. But, throw is a pretty loose term. The key point would be stand back. Okay, stand back has another meaning, when I used to take the discus home to practice in the cow pastures.

I competed in rowing when I was in my mid-20s in Hong Kong. Honest to god, we were practicing in a chocolate Shing Moon River. If anyone fell in, god be with them and I'm pretty sure there was a temple nearby to venerate the lost souls falling into Shing Moon River. My potential Olympic career in rowing was also put to rest there. But, I love rowing. It was like silent skiing down a pristine mountain side, except the chocolate river made like soda bubbles and the smell was not at all pristine.

What sports would you compete in?

Me and the younger bro had some absolutely killer badminton games in the front yard...so that's my answer: badminton. :D

Luge. Mainly because I'm pretty sure you can be dead and still luge convincingly.

I can squirt water through my two front teeth about eight feet without departing from a completely vertical posture. But I have to make sure I've just brushed my teeth before doing so.

That, and pistol shooting. srsly. Believe it or not, in 1979, I was nationally ranked in the collegiate standings. I'm quite sure if I had really focused, I could have been a contender.

Then, I got a girlfriend.

Based on what I saw of the first race, I could probably sail better than at least a couple of the 42 Laser sailors than competed.

I'm thinking running around the mat with a hoola hoop. As a matter of fact, I think I'll run over to Hooters and start practicing for London. Always good to have some motivation while you train.

Always good to have some motivation while you train.I could be some kind of a coach for that activity. how many girls on each of those teams? I could coach 3, maybe 4 teams.
