I didn't see any of you f'in hillbillys post anything about last Saturday's scrimmage....Just read about it on Sooner Sports.

Stoops was delirious with delight...said we looked a lot sharper. And then he said something that made me weak in the knees...he called Sam's play "incredible." INCREDIBLE...from Bob Stoops. I.AM.SO.PUMPED.

Brandon Caleb had two td receptions, and Franks had two interceptions. Hope this indicates that stellar performances are possible from anywhere in the roster.

I'm hesitant to post the article because I'm not sure about policy on that.

Well, it was all over the news, and last I heard channel 6 was free. :)

Coach speak, of course... but Stoops never shies away from saying when we stink it up out there, so nice to see things are "progressing" at least.

What is this "channel 6" you speak of?

Don't get too excited from playing against us. Watch the first 5 games and then make a decision. That is how I do it. I decide right after the Texas game and figure things out then. If we are undefeated after UT then we are favored throughout.

if we can leave Pac-10 country with a win, i'll be pretty optimistic for the season :D

our road schedule isn't exactly nice this year

We should be favored by 30 against the UW

Pretty strong praise from Stoops. I recall during the 2000 season, the week after the Red River Shootout, he said the coaches were meeting and he told them, "You know, we are a pretty good football team."

Flowery words to the press and flowery words to the staff behind closed doors are two different things. Let's hope we handle Red River the same way we did in 2000.

I'm gald Franks has steped into the role. He could be a bright spot for us, and gets harris and holmes back to their natural positions....I am more concrened about our LBs than bradford at the moment. who all is in the mix? Keenan clayton? Jr bryant? reynolds and box both have knee issues right?

Ok, so depending on your choice in Web site, I think I've posted most scrimmage reports here. For you DMN fans, they covered scrimmages, but only in Texas, like A&M, for example

Yeah, that game should be easy.

That's the only thing that concerns me about that game. Seattle sports fans, as we found in the Sonics situation, are not good. Even when the Mariners had their great season, they weren't selling out. Locker is the only guy on that team of any concern, and he can be erratic. In terms of his total game, he is closer to Bomar than Tebow. Remember, they have Oregon and BYU before us, so, if things go as expected in those games, they might just phone it in.

Their kids are cute too. I wonder which one of the twins is the one Bob will offer a football scholarship to? :D
