OK, Pineapple Express vs. Tropic Thunder

Me and my wife try to do a date night thing every once in a while and we might go see a movie. I think it's between these two. Which one is funnier and more entertaining?

Anybody have any thoughts?

Tropic Thunder. Pineapple is an aimless movie with random funny parts scattered throughout, and TT is a funny movie start to finish.

I havent seen Pineapple, but I have seen Tropic. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

For a date movie, the answer to your question is neither.

I'd pick Tropic Thunder. Just don't let her know that Mamma Mia is playing at the same cinema.

She no wants to see Mama Mia. She wants to see THe sisterhood movie or the Women which I have no idea when it comes out, but she likes to laugh and from everything we heard about both, they were both funny.

My wife has a great sense of humor, so as a date movie, I'm covered.

They were both good. I guess it depends on if you think smoking pot is humorous or not.
