With Davin Joseph going down, the Bucs have released Runnels (after 4 days) and have brought in OG Phil Bogle.
Is it possible that these two are related, as this sentence implies? Sooners going down together :(

eh, didn't mean it like that. Joseph got injured, then JD gets cut. That's what I meant.

And to answer the fullback question, the Packers use that spot. Other teams have used it too, based on whether or not they have talent there. Otherwise, they'll just have two backs or something. It is vitally important to have an extra blocker to protect the QB in the NFL with all the powerful defensive players out there. Offensive lines just don't hold the way they do in college (because defenses are weaker)

LT appears to be a fan of his lead blocker. Having a fullback seems to have worked for him.

The Bucs cut him a long time ago. I REALLY hope he sticks somewhere this year.
