with the nationwide event in town this week, grant waite (OU alumni) and mike bennett (one of the stack and tilt "inventors") are over for a private lesson/seminar and play day. very interesting stuff and grant is a great guy. here you go with two great SOONERS!!!

both Grant and Greg Turner played really well in the British Open a few times. i kinda knew them when they were at OU and i was a junior player. Greg has a couple top tens in the British, pretty sure.

just FWIW, in the early 80's golf coach David Yates recruited at least 3 players from New Zealand including Waite and Greg Turner. the other guy's name was Philip "something" i can't remember. these guys along with Andrew Magee really set the table for OU National Championship team that included Todd Hamilton.

Peter Feltersnatch is favored to win this week.

Nationwide event is at Irondequoit GC here in Rochester. Another Donald Ross (1/2 of it anyway). Borders right up next to Oak Hill and about 1 mile from where I am (Monroe).
