Suppose someone has a dozen or so years of development experience (about half of which is in an object-based environment) but whose only exposure to Visual Studio and C# are from a cursory run through of one of those 'For Dummies' books. Do any of y'all have recommendations on books or sites that would most quickly help that person get up to speed on doing C# development?

i would browse around the book store and read a bit of each one you see. Everyone likes different book from my experience.

I can't remember the ones i'm using for vb and t-sql
