This is the plane my Dock at American have been getting ready for today's event.

Our guys polished and painted this baby to get it ready.

Quite a busy place today where I work.

My sister is still fighting breast cancer from a few years ago. She went thru hell and it was a very dark time for us as a family and for me personally because of personal issues that had developed between us over the years.

Now, I cherish everyday that I have with her in this life.

Keep fightin the good fight!

That's a pretty cool thing. Kudos to American Airlines and American Eagle.

From what I understand...we'll be doing a couple more planes.

I'm hearing a 777 for sure.

They actually are huge stickers.

Saying that kind of makes it sound like it was no big deal to put on...but it really was an ordeal.

The skin had to be cleaned and free of debris...the skin was then buffed out...then they applied stencils so folks could tell where each piece went into place. It all takes these motorized lifts to put them on. All that is being done while the rest of us were giving it it's regular health check.

The tail went on first then they worked from there towards the front of the plane on both sides. Then they applied the Susan Komen Foundation Sticker. Once the stickers are applied they are sealed on the edges and at every seam and any place it was cut to fit around a window or door.

After that...they went over the plane with a fine tooth comb and gave it new paint and rebuffed the entire skin.

Then...

It rained. :(

Mother Nature had other ideas for the rollout this morning.

It's some stinky stuff that looks like something OV uses on his Juice maker. :D
