In response to the Russian's antagonistic miltary operation against the small republic of Georgia, the United States asked two of it's citizens to fight and show Russia how tough we are.

Unfortunately, the two chose to hold off because there would have been more than who is #3. It would have been who are the next 3 billion as there would have been a nuclear fallout wave that reached across most of the globe.
