Seriously...all that rain on Wednesday night in Norman? Didn't get a ****ing drop cause it all stayed put on the south side of town and along the river.

And the last two days? Western Norman gets it...hell my in-laws got a half inch the last two days and they're 3 miles west of me. My house? BONE ****ING DRY SINCE JUNE 15th!

For the love of all that is holy...PUT A FREAKING MONSOON ON TOP OF MY HOUSE PLEASE!

That is all...

I think he's dead, though. You don't want a dead body on top of your house. I read that in Reader's Digest.

We just had a 46th day of over 100 degrees (101 right now) and if we have 100 days until September 3 we will break the all time record of 69 100 degree days. Which is a distinct possibility, we have 100's or more predicted for the next week. Every storm that comes through there fizzles out about Waco, we went ot Dallas yesterday and it is amazingly green up there compared to down here. We got very scattered showers from Hurricane Dolly since it went south and TS Eduard went north of us so we got nothing. The only reason why Lake Travis isn't a dry hole is because we had such a wet (and therefore cooler) year last summer.

It has rained 4 straight days here, and they have been some pretty good rains also; much needed relief from the hot weather

I mowed the yard about 8am this morning and it was as cool as its been in months. I was actually enjoying it.

BTW, my grass is as green as a money, looking good this year.
