Savage actually looked pretty good last night. He was the leading rusher for the Chiefs and also caught a pass. He may not make the Chiefs, but he has shown that he is good enough to catch on somewhere else.

The Chiefs are loaded at running back. They have Johnson, Battle, and Charles. You end up going to a team that has injuries like Denver.

I think the Chiefs will keep him as long as possible to protect themselves against injury.
