I believe that Bryant's photo is on the soonersports football roster, so I think that the guy's on campus and prepared to start practice.

Sims has not made it yet. He has a few more assignments but hopes to make it before the start of the school year. He'll most likely miss two-a-days and end up redshirting this year.

1 Sooner To Miss Start Of Fall Practice

The Oklahoma Sooners begin fall practice today but will be without one player.

Junior college transfer safety David Sims is still working to complete his academic work at Butte Community College.

Sims has to finish the work before coming to Norman.

Sims is expected to compete for OU's nickelback slot and defensive coordinator Brent Venables says he expects Sims on campus before the August 30th opener against Tennessee-Chattanooga.
