No kiddin. There have been an extraordinary number of claims being made by wearers who got messed up by escalators. Apparently, a kid can get the front of his foot mangled when wearing Crocs on an escalator somehow.

Must be all dem little holes all over the shoes. I think they are ugly and more than a little ghey even for girls to be wearing. Not surprising that they are dangerous too!

Crocs are no more dangerous on escalators than flip-flops (aka shower shoes) or any other sandal - child or adult. Even an untied shoe string can get caught in them. Watch where you put your feet and keep your children from playing on the escalators and there won't be any problem.

I love my Crocs and will continue to wear them around town regardless of what others say. Might even have to buy another pair just to spite the writer of the article. :)
