I'm putting together a project that'll patch a mounted TV in the garage into the Dish box which is in the room next to it. Right now, both TVs are analog and I would just use a coax to feed it through. However, I was curious what wall connections I'd need to make to suffice the configuration for future expansion to HD in the bedroom. I'm assuming an outlet for HDMI should be built into the wall, but is there anything else? Also, if I were to just put plug-ins into both sides of the wall, what kind of wire would hold the HDMI signal in between both sides?

First....you'll need to make a small hole in the wall.

Don't be afraid...just get started.

I'll be back tomorrow with more info...after I do a little research for you. :D
