Remember how JamesOn left OSU early because the Chicago Bulls promised to draft him in the second round if he got the heeeeell outta Stillwater?

As it turns out, the Bulls kept their end of the deal... then released him a year later!

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls waived guard JamesOn Curry on Thursday.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Curry was the team's second-round pick in the 2007 NBA draft.

Curry was suspended for one game July 10 by the NBA after he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors in Idaho.

Curry, a former Oklahoma State standout, was arrested in January and pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and urinating in public.

Curry spent most of last season in the NBA's Developmental League.

JamesOn probably could have made it another season or two if he didn't have off-court issues. The question Pokies must be asking is if JamesOn staying another year, would they still have Sutton? Would they have won enough to win an NIT game finally, or even go to the tourney? More importantly, would they have beaten the fairweather fan cheatin' gooners at least once?

The answer, of course, is NO. And when Blake goes No. 1 next year, we can once again remind Pokies that our star STAYED and theirs DIDN'T and look what happened :)

Booooomerrrrrrrrrrr...
