Here (http://www.hsgametime.com/dfw/videopage.html?propertyid=dfw&nvid=268700&shu=1)'s a link to a video published today by HSGameTime.com/dfw of an interview with Garland Naaman Forest running back Jonathan Miller, who has orally committed to OU.

Rivals ranks him the No. 43 player in Texas on their preseason list (http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?ra_key=2190&Year=2009).

Nice post. Looks like he's a great pick-up. He may not see the field for awhile tho.

looks like he has decent speed and good size, kind of reminds me of justin johnson, could be a solid back in the future, but will definitely have to wait his turn

Their HS O-line sure gave him some holes to scoot through. That running-people-over technique he's fond of doesn't work as well in college.

Scout has him as the 40th best player in Texas and #29 best RB.

Seems a lot lower than the guys we've been getting...but he still looks good!

Here's Scouts' take:

Evaluation

Miller is a smooth, natural runner with the skills to excel as a zone back in college. He currently lacks ideal bulk, but possesses a tall, toned frame that has room for additional bulk. He's quick to the hole but runs with his eyes. Allows his blocks to set up before flashing his great acceleration and burst through the hole. Can stretch plays east-west with good lateral quickness and cut back sharply to hit small creases. Flashes great foot quickness, loose hips and excellent jump-cut skills. Can avoid defenders when the hole initially is jammed up. Loses very little speed when bouncing outside, and shows a second gear when turning the corner. Quickly squares up his shoulders when running downhill, and instantly generates good north-south speed. Runs with deceptive strength and breaks through initial arm tackles, but seems to lack great yards-after-contact potential at the next level. Runs with good lean and body control, but sometimes struggles to run through tackles and keep his balance. Needs to improve his lower-body thickness and power; legs can go dead on contact. Has suspect top-end speed, and is more of a quick-twitch scatback than a burner. May struggle to separate against better competition. Still, Miller's elusiveness and quickness in space should allow him to develop into a great change-of-pace college back in a spread system.

How come he didn't bust out in a rap? Very disappointing.
