Strange Magic. This is interesting because 1) it's live from PBS concert in 2001 and 2) it sounds really damn good for a bunch of doods over 20 years after the fact and 3) they've got a chick filling in for the other singer, opposite Jeff Lynne, 4) presumably because Jeff couldn't keep himself from throwing punches at the guy. ELO was my fav group inthe late 70s. I liked them becuase of their classical influence and use of classical instruments, then they went and got disco? I didn't get that, but still liked the music - sorta.

One time when i was a kid, just after the miracle of cable TV came to Norman...i was listening to 96X and watching the TV guide scroll on the TV screen....the soundtrack of which was the KATT.

and "Don't Bring Me Down" was playing at exactly the same time on both stations. like, exactly the same....note for note with nary a hint of difference. it was like the equinox, but way cooler. amazing stuff.
