Yep, god willing, come Valentine’s Day, we'll be welcoming a mini CVS into this world. I was actually in Japan on business when I found out. I knew she was going to the doctor for a cautionary test, but didn’t think it was likely to come out positive, as we weren't really trying yet. We had planned to start next year. WRONG!

I arrived after 28 hours of travel at the Osaka Hilton to an envelope from the front desk with an email inside from her telling me the great news. I was in total shock. The co worker who was with me asked what was wrong and all I could do was point to the piece of paper :D

Mrs. CVS is doing great. She’s 3 months right now, and hasn’t gotten sick at all yet. Reading lots of books, exercising and eating right are top shelf now.

We’re not going to find out if it’s a boy or girl until the delivery. I don’t really care either way, just want a healthy baby.

Thanks for any prayers and well wishes during this exciting time. We'll see you guys at the tailgates this year. I'll be the one drinking away my last real season ;)

Side Note:

One of the first things she said was “I’m so glad I won’t be super pregnant during football season.” Damn, I love this woman. :D

And that's not a bad thing.
