I have a quick question to ax you.

So, I've got back into a fall football league with a bunch of friends and we decided on making jerseys... retro blue superman t-shirts with white numbers on the back.

Any ideas on how I go about doing this since teh Wal-Marts doesn't carry Superman T's anymore? Any places online I can do this? Maybe you could refer me to a place in Tulsey... cuz that's where we're doing this thing.

Anywho, major TIA if anyone can help on this subject. I said if they dealt with the money part, I'd deal with the "jersey situation."

I did a Google search and came up with SuperHeroStuff.com - Superman Merchandise (http://www.superherostuff.com/characters/Superman/superman_merchandise.html).

Damb... teh Wal-Marts used to cost $8.00 a shirt. I can't even order them online anymore.

Check Target, they have a rotating stock of novelty t-shirts.

Too bad you don't know who made them and sold them to Wal-mart, cause I guarantee they have a crap load of them at their warehouse. Walmart has been know to bury people with returns for credit when they discontinue something.

Hmmm... that's an interesting point. I might talk to the chica who stocks guys Tees at my local Wal-Marts.

Hot Topic, perhaps? They often have a discount rack with the discontinued Mario stuff and all and you might find superman there.

You might need to go with an alternative color scheme, but this looks kind of cool. (http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/store/product.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302028483&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442174575&bmUID=1217250112648)

In the meantime, if this does not perk your football fantasies, then you may have to just be the Batman team. It is, after all, a Batman summer and not a Superman summer.

Dude, I run a screen printing shop. For a fellow sooner, I can get them to you for $8.00 a shirt plus shipping. I can guarentee you that if you go to a local custom screen printing shop, you wont get shirts with a print on front and numbers on the back for less than that. PEEM me if you want more info.

Make sure you have a first aid kit attached in a pocket or something.

Warner Brothers tends to be hyper-protective of the Superman trademark. Just sayin'.

Might be a good idea to just order some licensed Superman tees and get the numbers screened on after.

Actually, if you are just doing it for a group or team, there really is no problem. If you printed 200 of them and sold them as offical superman apparel, then yeah, you can get in trouble. But if you have a team of 15 guys that are called Team Superman, you can put the logo on it without any worries. Especially by adding numbers to the back.
