The Cubs will trade you straight up for Bob Howry I bet.

Ok, this is really starting to hack me off. Apparently anybody who tries to close a game for the Tigers thinks he's there to pitch bp. Farnsworth has given up a HR in every game he's pitched since he's been back with Detroit, or so it seems. Give Bobby Seay a chance. He at least seems to be able to get somebody out.

Last night was just sickening. Forget that they gave up a 6-1 lead. Let's just talk about what happened in the extras. You finally get a two run lead in the top only to give up four in the bottom?!! Leyland is about to go to four packs a day instead of three.

The Cubs would gladly give you Scott Eyre, Bob Howry, or Jason Marquis.

I was ticked with Polanco's second jack, but I knew Thornton had been in the game too long by the Granderson at bat. Then again, I thought we were going to re-tie the game on a Thome sac fly. So it shows what I knew. I was just glad to get to sleep at 1:30 am :P

Isn't that a nice change? And hey, Rodney's had two good outings in a row!

I wanted the sweep dammit. Frickin' Twins just won't go away

Greedy Gus.

I wouldn't be so greedy if the Twins would go on a nice handy 10 game losing streak...I'd settle for them going 2-8 though, as long as the Sox went 9-1 at worst :D

schedule for the next couple of weeks will be to the Tigers advantage. Hopefully the Good Guys can take the boys from Boston this weekend.

Tigers have ten straight home games. Really need to take advantage of that.
