We all know that the 3 greatest coaches in Oklahoma Sooner football history have names that start with B's. Is there any chance that the next great on will start with a B? We do have Brent Venables, so maybe he's next. :D

Bennie was the longest tenured coach at OU and built this program, but he doesn't have any national titles does he. I thought about putting his name in there especially since it starts with a B.

We did name the field after him.

I'm Convinced if Mike stayed for our bowl game that year we'd have #8 right now. Ever since he left our D hasn't been the same. I like Brent, but would not want to see him as HC, I'm even thinking a new DC wouldn't be a bad thing. Flame away.

AZ- I agree that our D appears to have fallen off since Mike left, particularly in the secondary. But I don't think we can blame the D for the loss to LSU. I thought our D played well in that game. We held them to 14 points (remember they got 7 off the pick returned for TD), and shut them out in the second half of the game. And we got that fumble recovery inside our own 5 early in the game.

Our lack of offensive production hurt us that night. And that LSU team had a great defense themselves.
