Would Blake Griffin be scarier at 260 lbs then he was playing at close to 240 last season. I read this article a last week and thought it was awesome that Wright and the Griffin's were working hard out in California. I can't wait for basketball this year, but I guess I'll get by watching some football for a couple of months.:D

If he can maintain his quickness and add a few pounds it will be even harder for anyone to push him out of the paint or out muscle him for a rebound. Hell yeah he will be scarier!

Blake is a very bruising player. And he's tall.

Ooo, he's a scary tree :D

For our purposes, I'm not too worried whether he's 240 or 260... for NBA purposes, I wish he was more 6'10 instead of 6'7 or 6'8

260 lbs is what Mike Sherman is hoping Jovorskie Lane weighs by opening day at Texas A&M.

For those of you painfully cluelessly unaware of Porky Lane Train:

So, do we really want those two to be the same weight?

Better yet, do we really think that Porky will ever be able to lose weight?

...well, at least our 260 pounder won't be caught crying on national television for sitting out on fourth down :D

Cool. Now that he's back he can simulate the 60 pound sandbag by carrying Austin Johnson to class.

Blake Griffin is every bit of professional athlete 6'10. It's a different scale. Barkley, Abercrombie, Andre the Giant, all of them. They all lie about it by a few inches, but since everyone does, it evens out.

I'll have you know that Andre the Giant was every bit of 8'3

What guy doesn't lie about a couple of inches?

Except Kevin Garnett, I think he is seven foot, or seven plus. He's listed at 6'11, read in article that he does not want to be considered a seven footer.

Of course, he'd have to ask AJ to carry a couple of 10 lb plates. But otherwise, yeah, that would work.

like jlew said about garnett, the NBA is the worse about a players real height and weight. durant officially measured in at 6'10 188 just before he was drafted, but now all the sudden he is shorter by an inch and 35 pounds heavier. yeah right

In one of the worst matches of all time, he and Big John Studd were on the mat for over 8 minutes with chinlocks on each other. I think its on youtube.
