I know this should probably be in the recruiting forum, but I just saw where OU might be in on this guy after his release from LSU and I was just wondering if he would be able to play right way if he comes to OU. I didn't know if he would have to sit a year since they released him. I know we really don't need him to play this year, but was curious.

What's it take to get kicked off of that team? I would think grade problems would be the only consistent thing.

There was a fistfight in a summer school class, and numerous smaller violations prior to that. RP was only big news cause it was RP.

well we did take lynn mcgruder from tennessee when he got kicked off. gave him a second chance and he was a very good player for us. i think jones could have the same impact if we got him.

He played as a true freshman on a "national championship team". They said in an article that I read that he didn't do anything to embarrass the university and that it was internal.
