If I was George Lucas and had a time machine:


I take the script to Episode 1 and throw it in the fireplace.

I take the script to Ep. 2 and Ep. 3 and stretch it into 3 films.

I cast Christian Bale as Anakin and cast Liam Neeson as Obi-Wan.

I don't direct any of the movies, because I realize I suck at it.

I don't end up ruining the franchise.

That makes more sense to me.
