The only Sam Adams beer that I've ever enjoyed and purchased more than once is there Oktoberfest. Very smooth beer and a great college football drinking beer as well.

I think their Oktoberfest is their best offer as well. Everything else is okay, nothing spectacular. Except for the Honey Porter, which is flat out disgusting. Sam Adams is an intro to good American made micro brews.

I was really excited about there honey porter too but I found it so bitter that it was impossible to enjoy. I rarely pour a beer out but that was one I just couldn't finish.

I don't think I will ever drink their cherry wheat again.

Harry Beanbag

Yeah, it wasn't even the bitterness for me. All of Sam Adams beers have the same bitter aftertaste, but the Honey Porter just tasted like @ss. No bueno.

Fruit in a beer immediately turns me off. Just give me a freakin whine cooler.

Zon is imitating a Belgian white. It's a lot like Hoegaarden. I believe the flavor is coriander and orange peel.

The taste is actually very good.

The aftertaste is horrendous.

I'm kind of non-plussed by most of the Denver area micro-brew scene after all these years and all the stupid ideological bs names, but Flying Dog's In Heat Wheat is pretty damned good. and FD brewery has gonzo Ralph Steadman art on it's labels.

which is ****ing cool.

Ok.

I'm not really the 'go out and party' guy, anyway. I'm don't have a life. I have a collar around my neck, and this woman who bears my last name holds the leash.

Oh, I understand. I am just trying to say that I am also limited as to what I can and can't do.

But is the collar at least made of leather and spikes?

Here's a similar beer to what you mentioned. I bought a sixer of this yesterday...it's pretty good for a pale beer. And it was cheaper than my normal selections
