Please build one of those resorts on Lake Tenkiller in addition to or in lieu of the one at Eufaula. Tenkiller is a much nicer lake and already had a nearby golf course for sale dirt cheap.

Dear Jed, pass this along.

TIA

Doesn't look like anyone is feeling your pain on this issue.

I only need Kirk and Jed to feel me. Mainly, just Kirk, he's got the money.

:D

You've been working that golf course angle for a month now. :D

I'd just like to see some city street repair.

That is all.

I need a buyer because I go to TK a lot and that's the only course within 35 miles and it's closing after 7/31/08, supposedly.

Interested? :D

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

Heh. I don't get to talk to Kirk much these days. I see Grant a bit more often. I'll tell him.

Interesting coincidence: I had drinks last night with a friend who was attending the design charettes. He was really impressed with Andrés Duany. I didn't even know a whole lot about this proposed development until talking with him last night. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in those charettes. Duany is effectively the father of new urbanism, and apparently he offered some opinions (some good, some bad) about downtown OKC, having toured it before going to Eufaula.

That will be a very interesting and exciting experiment for a rural Oklahoma lake. They are basically talking about creating a fully functional community from scratch, not just a housing development. I think if anybody can pull it off well, it will be Kirk and Grant.

It is possible that I am the only one who saw that as an interesting coincidence.

Tenkiller is clear to green (damn you ArKANSAS). Eufaula = dirt brown. Like Dirtybird brown.

Therefore Tenkiller > Eufaula.

LAKE SMACK! BOOOYA!

He may not know Kirk isn't the mayor anymore.

Is Grant going to put his new ferris wheel in the old Downtown Airpark? Is it going to be near that ginormous ohl derrick?

South Eufala is as nice as they come, except for maybe Broken Bow. And, they have the best natural watersports area in the country at a certain part of the lake.

Tenkiller=very nice but no Eufala

Oh, you meant it in the traditional sense? You capitalized it, so I thought you might have meant something different. Yeah, I know what blueblood is. Nah, I'm plain ol' Okie (by way of Kansas) trailer trash. Sorry to disappoint.
