With uncertainty at LB and Holmes and Proctor pretty solid at the safety spots the should we move Nic Harris to LB? Harris seems to play better the closer he is to the line of scrimmage. I know that Harris could easily start at safety like he did last year but Proctor has been pretty impressive and our LB's really haven't been that spectacular. It seems like Lewis or Box should have seperated himself by now at the WLB, but neither has so maybe would should give Harris a shot.

Negative. LB is more solid than S at this point.

Not that that's saying anything.

the only thing I saw solid in our D last year was that SOLID AZZ-whuppin we took in the Bowl game

i saw us hungry for the ball again, our turnover margin was SO much better than the year before

that shows you know little about football. We gave up so many points cus our offense was horrible, the penalties and turnovers made it really tough and our D wore down. You remember that our D was taking over the game before the failed onside kick, then they just ran out of gas

Would that kill his draft status, not that it matters b/c if its best for the team then move him wherever.

No way

he had no draft status to kill

EDIT: never mind your talking about Harris...and no it would not kill his draft status, especially if he doesn't have NFL safety speed

Instead of Harris to LB, we would just employ a 4-2-5 defense and NH could be the "ROY" position.
Can't see him being moved and labeled a linebacker.

Wasn't he a backup at MLB in 2006?

I know enough to know that championships are won with Defense. And I must of watched another Fiesta Bowl, cuz the one I saw showed OU getting tired from chasin' the White boy all over the field. I am as big an OU fan as anybody but at least I can call a spade a spade and would wonder about anybody that was satisfied with our performance as a defensive unit as a whole, but maybe you just don't know much about football. Collier mama and have her tellya about it.
