I have never cooked ribs in a crock pot before. I heard it gets them really tender, but I always use the pit and smoke em.

Be sure you don't throw the bones away too soon.

If you do it right, you could get a stew (http://youtube.com/watch?v=75bDmEugcxk) goin.

I'm about to start making something called Carl Cooper's Oklahoma Cowboy Stew. Supposedly Carl Cooper was a foreman and head-cook of the Hitch Ranch in Oklahoma. Hopefully it'll be teh yummy.

Stop it! You’re making me Hungary.

I’m doing the BBQ pork rib thing tomorrow.

I marinate the ribs in my own mixture of tomato paste, lime juice, smashed fresh garlic cloves, soy sauce, fish sauce, lots of dried chili powder and coarse black pepper. Of course, any old BBQ sauce would have the same ingredients, but it tastes better when I need to work at it and sample it.

I keep a live pig filled with antibiodics in my back yard. There is nothing like fresh pork.

Honestly, you bacon freaks are doing it wrong.

You can't have Thai food without fish sauce, I'm pretty sure.

I also think you can't fix Thai food without a pestle and mortar. So, I do that garlic smashing thing.

I thought we was cooking ribs?

Like everything in life, it is all in the sauce.

Oh, man. The meat is falling off the bones. I literally have to use a fork. It's so tender that it just falls apart when you pick it up.

If you cook em in the crock pot long enough...do the bones become tender too?

Wow. I guess people don't like good ribs.

Enjoy your rib jerky on your 1000 degree fire.
