says the EPA. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080711/ap_on_re_us/value_of_life)
And the libz and tree-huggers say Bush made the EPA skew the numbers so they'd lose funding.

I believe your life isn't worth as much as it was 5 years ago because of this thing called "inflation".

I especially like how they've decided to estimate the value of a human life in order to do a cost/benefit analysis on whether the cost of enforcing a regulation is worth it.
Seriously, what the hell?

The older I get the closer to death I get...
Being an Organ Donor should make me worth more...
Oh well....maybe since my worth is going down...I'll be able to hang around a little longer.

Or, it could be that so many of us can no longer afford health insurance. It does appear that the value of human life is getting cheaper and cheaper.

I think it's obvious that your life isn't worth as much as it was 5 years ago, more people and more people willing to kill other people than 5 years ago.

How else would they do it?
Lives have economic value. Obviously, they also have emotional value.

I know I'm not worth as much. After I passed the big 40 it seemed like a lot of my parts are breaking down. :(
