I dug up this gem of an article after Texas beat us 28-10 in 2006.

http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/big12/stories/MYSA100906.12D.Griffin.2a85aff.html

My favorite quote is:

"The OU cupboard might not be bare, but it will take a big dip. Enough that the Sooners likely will scramble to keep up with Texas Tech or Texas A&M as UT's top South Division contender the next couple of seasons." Yeah, not so much.

That game shouldn't have turned out that way. We were ahead at the half, then the AD fumble/incompletion and mehhhhh.

But, we can't take too much credit for making that comment on San Antwan's site invalid and amusing. REMEMBER, not only did we lose to Texas, but we also somethingsomethingduckrefsomethingsomethingconclus ive.

Texas, the Saxet of the South, has nobody to blame but itself for not making OU's cupboard bare or whatever. First, your offensive line can't protect Colt OMG AWESOME FRESHMAN QB OMG McCoy from KSU's bruising defense (sound familiar? NO, no it doesn't ) so you depend on transfering-in-five-four-three QB Jevan Sneed. PHAIL. Then, you save Franchione's career (for one measily year, thank you Fran for screwing up off-field) by PHAILING at home by an honor-our-country-the-aggie-way-with-pearl-harbor-day score of 12-7. Then, you return to the Holiday Bowl.

It's inevitable. There will only be one Fumbles McScrambles, so there will only be one Whorn championship year. All other years, regardless of anything else that happens, will result in the Texas bandwagon bus headed directly for San Diego. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. (that's an NCAA violation)

I'm feeling a 2000 2003 type stomping this year.

It is not truly a stomping unless Boren calls a snow day :D

It's gonna be a stomping, but not in the 60's.

Ya I'd love to see a shut out before a stomping. Then again I just want to win.
