you're going to have to be a whole lot more specific then "oil well pipe"

actually there is no such thing as "oil well pipe"

there's material grades used in piping, and the piping would be ordered based on specifications for the pressures expected. You also have to order it in schedules (pipe thickness) which is set by the daimeter of the pipe and then the thickness of the material. Piping also uses a minimum OD, so a 3" pipe is actually a 3.5" OD.
Then you get to determine the length of piping. You can't order a 20ft section, they won't necessarily guaranty that length, you get to choose if it's Random Length or Double Random Length.
it's then threaded based on what type of connection they choose to use
