Are the Stephen W. Sears books about various Civil War Battles a good read?

I've only read To the Gates of Richmond, but it was very well written.

I'd recommend going with the Shelby Foote Civil War collection though.

Also, if you like WONA music then nearly all of Bobby Horton's music is up on iTunes now. I think all but the 2nd and 6th volume of his Confederate music is there, and I don't know anything about his union music but there are several volumes of that available as well.
