Brat, I'll be joining you on this adventure at the end of the year when my daughter gets hers as well. Afterwards, I'll have to stress the fact about cell phone usage when driving. You know how kids have to be on the phone ALL THE TIME these days.

it's very scary!

my son didn't even want his driver's license..i had to force him to get one when he was 17.

My second son turns sixteen at the end of Sept. eeeep!

Let's just say his perception of where his lane is and the reality of where his lane is do not always match.

I may start him off in a powerwheels jeep.

That's pretty crazy. My daughter's first car is going to be something like a slightly used civic. No way I'd risk letting a new driver getting behind the wheel of a more expensive car.

Thanks to Nebraska's School permit laws, I had been driving on my own for a 1.5 years at your daughters age. And illegally for a couple years before that when needed on the farm. It just blows my mind that someone would just be learning to drive at 15.
