I'll start.

I'm taking the wife and stepdaughter and flying into Albuquerque late on the 3rd. On the 4th, we're driving to Moab, Utah and touring Arches NP. On the 5th, we're driving to Durango, Colorado (cause the wife wants to see the mountains) before flying back home on the 6th.

Thurday: Taking th kids to either see Kung Fu or Wall-E, there choice.

Friday: Take the kids to zoo, have friends over for fireworks and cookout.

Saturday: SIL is gonna watch the kids while me and the wife have a date day/nite.

Sunday: House stuff.

We are flying to Boston of Friday morning, then catching a cruise ship on Sunday that takes us to Bermuda for a week, then cruising back the following Sunday. We will be watching the fireworks over the harbor in Boston.

Working all weekend. We are already taking bets on how many kids we are going to admit with injuries over the weekend...my money is on 5 burns, 1 eye injury, 1 near drowning, 2 atv accidents, and one baby shaken my mom's drunk boyfriend.

Holidays aren't as much for me as they used to be.

We're meeting the In-laws half way between Stillwater and Ogden in the town of Limon, CO. I guess we'll go see Pike's Peak. Not sure what to do after that.

As fireworks are illegal in Arizona I will be lighting farts.

The usual, family gathering at my parent's house. 40-50 people will be there. There will be trampoline, swimming pool, football, soccer, and basketball.

We're having an outdoor concert/party in Centennial. It's mostly 60s-70s rock. Our band is supposed to play for four hours, but if we go for half of that I'll be surprised.

I will likely be going to an expat July 4 party and picnic in Yuzhno, Russia - Sakhalin Island. Interesting to be celebrating Independence in former commie Russia! :)

On the down side, it'll be three weeks in country, on the up side, it will begin my 4th and last week in Russia. Yea!

Laying low. Got some family and friends coming to town, dinner and a possible trip to McNellies this evening..then a cookout tomorrow night.
Then an even more lazy Saturday and Sunday.
Best part is I'm off work now til Monday!
(worst part is my son still has a touch of a stomach bug)

Went to San Francisco for fireworks. Fog rolled in about 9 with fireworks at 9:30. We saw nothing but colored flashes in the fog. Twenty minutes later, the fog was gone and you could see the entire bay. :(

Oh well, it was a fun party and a fun trip.
