If my wife were ever to see this post, I would probably not wake up tomorrow.

My mom let my stepdad get four corvettes, if that helps.

it really depends which Corvette...

we talking some 80's Stingray, or like a 2009 ZR1? :D

I guess it all depends upon your income and what model you want.

If you have enough money I say go for it. However, if it puts your family in a financial bind I wouldn't do it.

Well I have a gas guzzling truck that will be paid off in 2 months and only has 63,000 miles on it. I have to have that truck for work, so I am keeping it. I am just thinking about getting another car to run around in instead of driving the gas hog. I have just always wanted a vette....and they get decent gas mileage.

so i'm hearing you want one from at least the mid 90's with the LS1 and the 6spd

those aren't necessarily that expensive

maybe harder to finance though, if you are into that sorta thing

buying a Vette to save money on gas has to be one of the funniest things i've heard in a while though.

do you have a good divorce lawyer? :D

I just found a whole bunch of Z06s from the mid 2000s on Autotrader that were priced in the mid-$20s.

Damn, I should get one. I wonder if I could run one on OVJ.

I'd love a new ZO6 or a 60's model with a 427. However the best Corvette has got to be the Sledgehammer.

they've done more lately. Lingenfelter made a twin-turbo that beat an F-18 to 60

x58iQwlzkcY

that's kinda old though but still sub-2 second 0-60, damn

If you are worried or have to ask your Wife if it's OK...

You need a divorce Lawyer IMHO.

I hope that helps. :D

That's what I want, except convertible with side pipes.
A friend of a friend had one just like it. It was bad-***.

Some questions first.

Are you at least 48 years old?

Are you somewhat skeevy?

Do you have more than two gold chains?

If you answer yes to more than two of these, you should get a vette made anytime after 1970.

Actually, let me change the final statement.^^^

I guess 3503 lbs wasn’t a big deal when gasoline was $1.08

If you could afford that particular Corvette, you aren't too worried even if gas hits $7.00 a gallon.
