I used to think it was TNG but now I'm not too sure. I seem to enjoy Voyager more than most.

I rank them as follows:

1. Voyager
2. The Next Generation
3. Original
4. DS9
5. Enterprise

i liked DS9 better than Voyager. although, i hated DS9 at first, and lost interest in Voyager fairly early on

but it's already kinda blasphemy to put TNG over TOS

Nice thread, but it makes me sad to see everyone get this one wrong.

1. DS9
2. O.S.
3. TNG
4. V
5. E

The darkness and complex characters on DS9 make it the best one.

Oh, and nice pole!

I like Enterprise. I think the O.S. has always been too goofy to take srsly.

1. O.S. - How can you deny the fight between Kirk & Spock on Vulcan when Spock goes into heat!!!

2. TNG - Picard was as smooth as they come.

I didn't care for any of the others.

Yes, very good episode. Spock with goat-tee = greatness.

Everyone has their own way of doing things, they may be dead wrong, but hey, it is their party and we are just guests. ;)

I watched TNG from beginning to end, never missed an episode. I do agree that Best of Both Worlds was really good, but it doesn't compare with All Good Things.

1. DS9
1a. TNG
1b. ENT
1c. TOS
9. VOY

In all seriousness, DS9 has the most meat on its bones--developed characters, usually strong writing, the epic storylines. TNG had some really great episodes and strong leads, but frequently the writer's ear for normal-person, non-Trek-moment dialogue on TNG was absolutely wooden. It feels like it was written by sci-fi geeks, and DS9 by competent writers (though it was mostly the same people).

Enterprise really came together eventually, especially the year-long Xindi thing and the introduction of all the familiar foes and friends, though it sometimes felt to me like it sacrificed a bit of its Trekishness and tended to be a good television series, just not great Star Trek. Still it deserved the full 7 seasons. And TOS has a few scripts that are incredibly strong and shine through 40 years later, past the corniness, the low budget, and the garish colors.

Voyager is mostly ****. :) The worst single episode of Trek is from Voyager, the worst premise, the worst characters...Janeway really grew ("Mulgrew?" sorry) on me after awhile, and I liked the "look at the desperate haze where Starfleet ethics take a back seat" element of the show, but then Enterprise did that better anyway.

And still I'd rather watch every episode of Voyager's run nineteen times before I see another of, say, "Til Death." :)

I wasn't too wild about Voyager when it first came on. But, I started watching the re-runs on Spike and now it's my favorite ST series.

The Original is the only one that can be enjoyed by normal people. William Shatner rules.

Enterprise sucked. It relied waaaaay too much on time travel. To me, that points to bad writers with no imagination.

I'm surprised r5TP didn't vote TNG, considering he used to have a Worf avatar.

While TNG maybe better in quality, TOS is nothing but awesome.

well what did you expect, Gene Roddenberry was dead by then.

DS9
TOS
TNG
Enterprize
The Cartoon
Voyager.

Jeri Ryan was the only thing that made Voyager tolerable and they totally flubbed on the character.
