Other than Policewoman I hate all the other shows mentioned.The one thing I DID like about Hawaii 5-0 was the theme song.The show itself starred a narcissist with a pompadour and agun.Trash it,Dan-o.

I’ve known two career policemen. Both said “Barney Miller” was the most realistic cop show because they seldom fired their weapons. Not best, realistic. I myself vote for “The Shield”.

"Boomtown" was excellent! I was shocked and dismayed when it got cancelled. I liked NYPD Blue, and all 3 of the Law and Order shows are usually good. He*l, I even like NCIS.

There is a new "cop" show on USA called "In Plain Sight." It's about a US Marshall who helps people into the witness protection program.

Pretty good so far.
