Texas School for the Deaf was in there a couple of times. The Texas School for the Blind supplied refs for the SWC that the Big XII inherited.

The Wildcats scheduled those two teams during the Bill Snyder era, didn't they?

Sooners 1-1 all time versus the Norman Naval Air Station, known today as North Campus. I worked for a nonacademic department that from 1975-78 officed in the Naval Air Station main administration building, the big one with the pillars in front. It was interesting to go through the place and find relics from the 40's were still around. Other WWII-era buildings dot the North Campus though every now and then one will burn down (once the old wood in those buildings catches, they go up like gasoline was poured on em).

I'm thinking he is more likely refering to the interception in the end zone that was called out of bounds that allowed ut to tie the game some years back. Extreme case of home cooking until the Oregon game. That ball was caught so far in bounds that the Sooner slide for several seconds in bounds on the wet turf before going out of bounds...
